Who is the client?
Co-operative Financial Services supports football at all levels throughout the UK, including a range of grassroots initiatives that has provided free sets of kits to nearly 3,000 youth teams and coaching for over 14,500 children.
Since 2001, they have also sponsored The Co-operative Insurance Cup and The Co-operative Insurance Football Development Centres in Northern Ireland, aimed at providing the group with a platform for a programme of community engagement and interaction.

Grow brand awareness in the consumer market through their involvement in local football.
How did we help them achieve it?
ASG was briefed to develop and implement a strategic media relations, event and sponsorship management campaign that would grow brand awareness in the consumer market, deliver grassroots and community-based initiatives, and support business development opportunities.
How do we know it worked?
As well as generating £1.6million worth of advertising value equivalency (far exceeding client expectations), this campaign resulted in over 800 new customers as a direct result of the sponsorship and nearly 200 leads from people attending Cup matches.
