BBC Northern Ireland’s creative hub, Broadcasting House, celebrated its 70th Anniversary in 2010.
What did our client need to achieve?
BBC NI wanted to mark this auspicious birthday through a community archive touring exhibition that would provide a rich insight into the near past of the BBC in Northern Ireland and the community which has been at the heart of its work for over 80 years.
How did we help them achieve it?
To celebrate the anniversary and exhibition, ASG created a suite of promotional and information materials, including a 36-page book entitled ‘Broadcasting House: A Portrait’, a series of postcards and posters, as well as re-dressing the corporate Boardroom to reflect the significance of the occasion.
The creative challenge was to create a design that would work using the hundreds of photographs that told the story of the many people – both in front of the camera and behind the scenes – who have been part of the BBC NI community.
