    The winners will be announced at a gala event in the Burlington Hotel, Dublin on 31st March.

  • Belfast rent prices hold steady in 2010

    Though property prices continued to fall throughout 2010 in the Belfast area, private rented prices continued to hold their own, according to Northern Ireland's largest dedicated online letting site.

    Citylets said fears about the property market and which way it's heading, worries about jobs, and difficulties in getting a mortgage meant more first-time buyers dediced that renting was a better option for now.

    Northern Ireland’s private rented sector generates an estimated £822 million in rent receipts annually.

  • Workspace proves energy saving is a key for growth

    Proving that the social enterprise model really works, The Workspace Group has just posted a better-than-expected 55% hike in annual sales, boosting staff numbers to 117.

    The Draperstown-based organisation credits much of this success to the strong growth experienced by its commercial insulation and energy-saving businesses Homeseal and Environment 2000.
